Club Permits

What are Club Permits?

Club Permits (also known as Club Registration/Plates) are a VicRoads initiative that allows vehicle owners to register their cars at significantly reduced costs. With a Club Permit, owners can drive their vehicles for either 45 or 90 days per year, paying an annual registration fee of $85 or $170, respectively

To be eligible, the vehicle must be at least 25 years and one month old with a valid Certificate of Roadworthiness (RWC), and the owner must be a member of a VicRoads-approved car club (hopefully you choose us!).

In addition to reduced registration fees, members with club permits in Victoria also enjoy an exemption from vehicle stamp duty when transferring ownership and can apply for limited-use insurance policies, providing significant financial benefits.
